|
Rome is the center of the Roman Catholic Church. Throughout the semester, DePaul provides opportunities for students to experience the religious life of the city and to make of their time in Rome a genuinely spiritual experience. Those who take advantage of this will find their time here enriched by getting in touch with the deep religious traditions of Rome. |
|
Celebration of MassMass is celebrated daily in the over 300 churches around the city of Rome. In
addition, on Sundays Mass is celebrated in many different languages and styles.
For those Christians who are not Roman Catholic there are Sunday celebrations in
many different traditions throughout the city, often in English. There is also a
prominent Synagogue and Mosque here for Jews and Muslims. |

encouraged to participant in the ancient prayer of the Church, celebrated here
in Rome since the late 30s of the first century. This is the practice of praying
the Psalms in the morning before beginning the day and in the evening after

religious orders have their main offices here as well. Throughout the semester,
